Want to see exactly what is involved in the home building process? We cover everything from pre-deposit to handover!
From the pre-deposit stage right through to moving into your new home!
Stage 1: Pre-Deposit
This stage involves meeting with your consultant who will go through all our designs, inclusions an upgrades your package can contain, as well as costings. Once you have chosen your designs and upgrades, a formal tender will be prepared and presented to you by our sales consultant.
Stage 2: Post-Deposit
Once you are happy with the design, layout and inclusions and you and your lender have accepted the new home tender agreement, a Home Building contract is prepared for you. This is also when you get to pick the colours for your new home.
Stage 3: Approval
Now that you have practically built your new house on paper, it all needs to be submitted to the relevant council or private certifier for approval. This is to ensure all statutory requirements set by council and government have been satisfied.
Stage 4: Validation
It’s almost time to begin building but you must make sure you have home loan approval to begin. Also in this stage, our experienced estimators will order the materials needed to build your new home and allocated to a site supervisor who will be consulting with you throughout the next stage.
Stage 5: Build
It’s time to build your new home! Your site supervisor will be responsible for the building process of your new home and will keep you informed every step of the way and answer all your construction related questions, arrange site visits and inspections with you.
Stage 6: Handover
Time to move in! New Living Homes will arrange a walk through your new house with you. You will be invited to inspect your new house to ensure it is as promised.
